Can I fix a flexible hose to a gas cooktop?
Gas flexible hoses have a temperature rating that can vary from one manufacturer to another. Because of all the possible variants when installing the gas cooktop, the temperature around the hose could rise above what is recommended by the hose manufacturer. Therefore the fitting of a flexible hose is not approved for safety reasons.
