How does a self-cleaning oven work?
The inside of the oven is made of porous ceramic that transforms dirt into water and carbon oxide gas. Or the inside can be heated to a temperature of 500°C. At this temperature all dirt burns and leaves a clean surface. This is an effective but costly solution.
